Assisted bin collections

This service is to help customers who are unable to take their bin or recycling containers to the normal collection point at the boundary of their property due to physical inability, illness or disability.

Containers must be stored at the front of the property or in the front garden for an assisted collection to be made.

Use this form to apply for or cancel the service or to tell us you are moving.

To complete this form you will need your:

  • Contact details for the person who requires the assisted collection
  • Collection address
  • The type of container

A Waste and Recycling Officer may visit you to discuss your arrangements. We may also ask you to provide a medical certificate.

If your application is successful, we will send you a confirmation letter in the post.
